Daniel Kane, President
Daniel Kane has over 30 years of sales and marketing management experience in the commercial leasing industry. This experience ranges from commercial equipment leases to large commercial trucks. Mr. Kane was Vice President and General Manager of an $8 Mil per year Fuel Oil Company, located in South Eastern New England. His responsibilities included Sales and Administration, as well as all financial reporting.
He has taken two small business start-ups and made them both profitable within the first 18 months of operation. He has extensive experience in managing all phases of the sales development cycles from CRM usage for prospecting through detailed presentations and negotiations to closing and follow up activities. Reviewed product pricing and gross margin goals for all existing products annually and established new product pricing criteria based on volume and internal costs.
He has worked with all facets of his client’s corporate personnel including Senior Executives, Financial Management, and Operations Management right down to the warehouse personnel and truck drivers.
Timothy Kane, CFO
Tim Kane is a finance and business development specialist focused on developing and implementing growth opportunities. Tim spent 17 years with major firms in Asset Management, Comprehensive Wealth Management and Corporate Finance. Tim graduated from the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics.
Tim’s expertise lies in several disciplines of personal and corporate finance including investment management, estate & financial planning, private equity and debt financing, as well M&A advisory work. Prior to acquiring Hyland Equipment, Tim built and ran a Business Consulting firm specializing in finance, accounting, logistics and shipment visibility solutions.
Richard Hyland, Founder/Consultant
Richard Hyland is Hyland Equipment’s founder and has been actively involved in the design and manufacturing operation of Hyland Equipment for the past 28 years and has over 30 years in mechanical background. He has 9 years experience running a machine shop for Civil Service, 7 years as a sub-sea engineer with hydraulic and electrical background. Richard is now semi-retired, but continues to work with the Hyland on a consultancy basis.
